Khilona Foundation: ‘Free Toys Distribution drive’ kicks-off today at Sindh Governor House

KARACHI: Khilona Foundation, organisation of Pakistan’s top Yoga Guru and Fitness expert Yogi Wajahat is organizing ‘Free Toys Distribution’ drive in collaboration with Daily National Courier newspaper today at Governor House Sindh.
Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori will be the chief guest on the occasion. The aim of free toys distribution drive is to bring happiness and smile on countless faces of little angels and to provide toys to the children irrespective of cast, color and creed. Khilona Foundation’s drive is also inclined towards educating the children about how to make toys and opening the doors to earn by making ‘Made in Pakistan’ products.
Khilona Foundation Founder Yogi Wajahat told this scribe that this free toys distribution drive will further expand towards other parts of Sindh province and across the country in near future.
In past also, ‘Khilona Foundation’ have taken several other initiatives aimed at creating awareness and education the children making them skillful in diversified areas of interest. Last year, Khilona Foundation developed Pakistan’s largest ‘Paper Plane’ by Origami on the eve of Defence Day in Karachi under the supervision and support of Managing Director at Regent Plaza hotel Zubair Baweja.
The event was held to pay rich tribute to the Armed Forces and the sacrifices of the martyrs and Ghazis. It is pertinent to mention here that the Paper Plane which was developed has been sold and the funds generated through it has been donated for the flood-affected people.
Moreover with an intent to spread happiness among the children suffering from various ailments especially pediatric heart patients, Khilona Foundation also distributed toys at National Institute of Cardio Vascular Diseases (NICVD) Children ward on the eve of World Heart Day last year.
