Renowned playwright Khalilur Rehman Qamar disclosed names of main actors for his upcoming play, Main Manto Nahi Hoon. Although drama had been temporarily put on hold for various reasons, production team plans to release it soon. While there were speculations about Mehwish Hayat and Maya Ali potentially joining cast of project set to be directed by Nadeem Baig, no confirmation regarding their involvement in show had been received.

During recent appearance on Mazaaq Raat, Qamar unveiled lead actor for his forthcoming play. He excitedly announced that Humayun Saeed has been cast in lead role-fact that Saeed himself had confirmed earlier in an Independent Urdu interview.

However, when programme’s host Wasay Chaudhry inquired about female lead, Qamar playfully stated, “I have been told not to take Sajal Aly’s name,” making host and audience burst into laughter.
