LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf was terrorist party as it attacks country every time.

Talking to media, SHE said that PTI was never political party. She labeled PTI as "Terrorist group," In statement to media, CM declared that what she had long been warning about is now clear. PTI has never been and can never be political party, she stressed. She urged state to treat PTI same way it deals with terrorists. She warned that any delay in doing so could have alarming results. "Their sole objective under guise of political party is to set country on fire and so they do not deserve any leniency," she asserted. She accused PTI of engaging militants trained on front lines to attack both police and state institutions.

Referring to recent incident in Lahore, Punjab CM disclosed that police constable named Bilal was seriously injured by stone pelting from PTI-affiliated lawyers. Meanwhile, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif labelled PTI as an 'armed group' who is hell-bent on creating chaos in capital just ahead of SCO summit. Addressing media in Sialkot, he said it was for this reason government could not hold dialogue with PTI. He said PTI under leadership of Imran Khan was repeated same old script of 2014 when it organised sit-in on arrival of Chinese President Xi Jinping. Now, it was making efforts to stall arrangements of upcoming session of SCO.

He alleged armed groups of Fitna al Khawarj was also coming with PTI and for this very purpose, Afghanistan's help had also been sought as there were many Aghanis in party's protests. He said government even asked PTI to hold its protest after SCO session but party's purpose was to create hurdle in SCO meeting. He said people have seen real face of PTI founder Imran Khan while adding Indian Foreign Minister was also invited in PTI protest. CM of one province is launching direct attacks on another province and for this sinister purpose, government resources are being uses," Asif lamented.
