ISLAMABAD: Minister for Defence Khawaja Muhammad Asif led a delegation to attend Council of Defence Ministers of SCO countries in Tashkent. While speaking during conference he highlighted significance of peace in Afghanistan and its importance for Pakistan.

He highlighted relevance of multilateral organisations and underlined need for strengthening UN structure. Defence Minister said that UN should play its active role in resolution of all outstanding issues faced by world.

He laid special emphasis on resolution of Kashmir issue according to resolutions of UN. Present on occasion were Defence Ministers of Russia, China, India, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.
