KDA continue to patronise sports including basketball: KDA Sports Director Ayaz Munshi

KARACHI:  KDA Sports Director Ayaz Munshi has lauded the zeal shown by both boys and young girls for basketball game during the ongoing events being held as part of Karachi Games Boys and Girls Basketball championship at Abdul Nasir Basketball Courts, Arambagh , Karachi. He said that KDA will continue to promote sports including basketball.

Sports organisers Nasim Rajput, KBBA President G M Khan, Muhammad Yaqub, Malik Mutahir,and other personalities were present on the occasion.

Earlier, more boys and girls matches have been decided in the Karachi Games Basketball Girls and Boys events organized under the auspices of the Karachi Basketball Association and with the support of KMC, at the International Abdul Nasir Basketball Court, Aram Bagh.  In the girls competitions, the teams of District Central, Malir, East and West were triumphant, while in the boys competitions, the teams of District Central, East, Malir and District South reached the semi-finals. In the girls competitions, District South beat West 23-21, Central beat West 32-28 and Central defeated South 20-14.  In the boys competition, Central defeated West 44-38, East defeated Central 53-47 and East defeated West 56-44. Mehek, Manahil Mohsin, Bushra Khan, Rabab Rashid, Yamuna, Misbah Shakeel, Hamna Khan, Maryam Zuberi, Hamza Khawaja, Mubariz Ahmed, Nabil Ahmed, Haris Shahid, Mohammad Zaid, Mohammad Moaz, Daniyal Khan Marwat, Aun Akram, Mohsin Gujar showed the best game, in these matches.
