February 5th marks an important occasion for every Pakistani - Kashmir Day. This day serves as a reminder of the unwavering support Pakistan has always extended to the people of Kashmir, who are subjected to unspeakable atrocities at the hands of the Indian state.

As we commemorate this solemn day, we renew our commitment to standing with the Kashmiri people in their legitimate struggle for justice, freedom, and self-determination.
The region of Kashmir, once a symbol of peace and unity, has now become a battleground where innocent lives are routinely destroyed by Indian brutality.

Since the illegal annexation of Jammu and Kashmir in 1947 and particularly following India's illegal and unconstitutional revocation of Article 370 in 2019, the situation has worsened dramatically. India's actions have pushed the region into an abyss of violence, repression, and human rights violations that no global conscience can ignore.

Kashmiris have long endured violence, displacement, and terror inflicted upon them by the Indian military.

From the unrelenting use of pellet guns that blind children and adults alike, to the widespread arbitrary detentions, torture, and executions, India's actions are not just an affront to human rights, but an absolute betrayal of international law.

The Kashmiri people, who have been fighting for their freedom for decades, deserve to live in peace and security, free from the daily horrors of military oppression.

India has consistently failed to deliver justice, and instead, it has chosen to deepen its repression, using violence as a tool to crush the aspirations of a nation yearning for freedom. The atrocities committed by Indian forces are not just limited to physical violence.
Pakistan stands firm in its support for the people of Kashmir.

We are committed to standing by them until they attain justice and freedom. It is imperative for the international community to recognize the grave situation in Kashmir, hold India accountable for its human rights abuses, and demand an end to its illegal occupation.

The United Nations resolutions on Kashmir, which recognize the right of Kashmiris to self-determination, should be implemented without further delay. On this Kashmir Day, let us renew our pledge to the people of Jammu and Kashmir - a pledge to support their struggle for justice and independence from Indian oppression.

Pakistan will never waver in its stance, and together, we will work tirelessly until the Kashmiri people are liberated from their suffering, and until the dream of a free, independent Kashmir becomes a reality.
Long live Kashmir! Long live Pakistan!
