‘Kashmir Black Day observed in Belarus’

Minsk: To mark 75th commemoration of Kashmir Black Day on October 27, an event was held at Embassy. Programme included a video documentary, messages of President and Prime Minister of Pakistan and a photographic exhibition. Event was attended by Pakistani community members and a Belarusians.
On this occasion, addressing participants, Ambassador of Pakistan to Belarus Sajjad Haider Khan spoke about genesis of Kashmir dispute, International Law and UNSC Resolutions on dispute and current situation in Illegally Occupied Indian Jammu and Kashmir. He further highlighted Indian ongoing repressions against Kashmiris and rising threat of Hindutva ideology and their impact in region.
It was underscored that for peace, stability and economic development in region, it was crucial to resolve Kashmir dispute in accordance with relevant UNSC resolutions. Head of Chancery Momin Qureshi read out messages of President and Prime Minister.
