Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan who welcomed her second child earlier this year has been open about challenges of balancing motherhood and her career. In recent interview, actress said she now sees herself as “70 percent mother and 30 percent an actor.” “Motherhood has changed my priorities,” Kapoor Khan said. “My children are my top priority now and I want to spend as much time with them as possible.”

Actress said she has been taking break from work to focus on her family. “I love acting and I miss it,” she said. “But I also know that I need to be there for my children.” Kapoor is not only working mother who has spoken about challenges of balancing work and family. Many other celebrities, including Jennifer Lopez, Angelina Jolie and Meryl Streep have also spoken about challenges of balancing their careers with their children. Despite challenges, Kapoor said she is grateful to be working mother. “I know that I am lucky to be able to have both career and family,” she said. “I am determined to make it work.”
