KARACHI: Weather in Karachi will remain cold and dry over the next 24 hours, with partially cloudy skies, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
The minimum temperature was recorded at 13.8°C, while the maximum is expected to reach 28°C. The mercury could drop as low as 11°C later tonight, the PMD said. Winds blew at speeds ranging from 5 to 20 km/h from different directions, keeping conditions cool. Light fog in the morning reduced visibility to 2.5 kilometres, causing slight discomfort for early commuters.
The city has been experiencing colder-than-usual mornings in recent days, with temperatures previously dipping to 11°C due to chilly winds. Meanwhile, the PMD has forecast a new westerly weather system entering Pakistan in the upcoming days, which could impact conditions in various regions.
