KARACHI: The boys event of the 8th Isa Lab Girls and Boys Basketball Tournament on the International Abdul Nasser Basketball Court Aram Bagh has entered the final stage, both the semi-finals of the event have become decisive.

In the first semi-final, Karachi Basketball Club defeated Arambagh Basketball Club by 66-63 points after a thrilling and exciting match.

On behalf of the winning team Karachi Club, Rana Athar scored 28 points with the help of 5 three-pointers, while Mohammad Haris scored 12 points and Rajkumar Lakhwani scored 12 points.

On behalf of runner team Aram Bagh Club, Hasan Ali once again showed a good game, with the help of 4 three-pointers he scored 23 points while Harry scored 20 points and Mustafa Haq scored 15 points.

The second semi-final of the tournament was tied by the scheduled time. National Club won the match by defeating Usman Club by 55-50 points.

On behalf of the National Club, Usman Khalid scored 19 points, Taimur Zaheer scored 12 points and Rauf Malik scored 12 points. Hamza Khawaja scored 19 points, Mohammad Nabil scored 12 points and Usman Khawaja scored 8 points on behalf of the runner team Usman Club.

Haji Ashraf Yahya, Zahid Malik, Aamir Sharif were the referees while Naeem Ahmed, Michael Turner, Zaima Khatun and Mumtaz Ahmed performed the duties of the technical officials.

At the beginning of the matches, the players were introduced to Additional Commissioner Karachi Ijaz Hussain Baloch.

Karachi Basketball Association President Ghulam Mohammad Khan and others were present on this occasion.

The final of the tournament will be played on Monday, August 28 at 08:30 pm
