ISLAMBAD: Justice Mazahar Naqvi has raised objections on Supreme Judicial Council (SJC). Objections raised by Justice Mazahar Naqvi have been filed in SJC wherein he has raised objection over presence of Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Qazi Faez Isa and Justice Sardar Tariq in SJC. He has objected over inclusion of Justice Sardar Tariq in SJC.

Justice Mazahar Naqvi has sought copies of reference and evidence from SJC. Justice Mazahar Naqvi has taken plea SJC can initiate proceedings against any judge when decision is unanimous. SJC does not have powers to take action against any judge through majority decision. CJP Qazi Faez Isa and Justice Sardar Tariq Masood have given opinion on declaring SJC rules unconstitutional

Justice Naqvi said he was served show cause notice without verifying allegations against him. Evidences against him were not reviewed in SJC meeting. Members included in SJC are not neutral.

He said CJP Qazi Faez Isa and Justice Naeem Akhtar Afghan are part of audio leaks inquiry. Audio leaks for inquiry which commission has been constituted are part of complaints against him too. Members of audio leaks inquiry commission should not be part of SJC against him.

He said CJP Qazi Faez Isa and Justice Naeem Akhtar should not be part of SJC against me. Show cause notice issued by partial SJC is too biased.  Its reply cannot be given.

Earlier communication of SJC meeting held under CJP Qazi Faez Isa was issued. SJC had issued show cause notice in its October 27 meeting.
