ISLAMABAD: Rana Sanaullah stated on Thursday that Justice Mansoor Ali Shah will not lead the constitutional bench.

In an interview with Independent Urdu, the Prime Minister’s Adviser for Political Affairs suggested that either Justice Aminuddin Khan or Justice Jamal Mandokhel could take the chair for the constitutional bench.

He emphasized that neither the government nor any other entity is responsible for obstructing Justice Mansoor Ali Shah's path, remarking that the PTI has the most significant influence in this matter.

Sanaullah noted that the PTI claimed to have discussions with Justice Mansoor Ali, who is expected to address these issues once he assumes office in October.

He expressed concern over the implications of political parties discussing matters in such a manner, stating that it is detrimental.

Additionally, Rana Sanaullah mentioned that he does not support politicizing cases involving women, asserting that Bushra Bibi and the sisters of the PTI founder should not have been implicated in any cases.
