Peshawar: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl Chief Maulanan Fazlur Rehman said that more persons try to get out of swamp, more he gets stuck in it. Berating Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Fazl said that party’s political power has been exposed. “Unrest and target killing in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is cause of major concern”, he added.

He said that KP Chief Minister Mahmood Khan will have to be answerable as province is indebted to Rs 900 billion. He called out provincial government to make efforts for restoration of peace in tribal and urban areas.

Recommendations of APC, he said will be sent to government. “These recommendations will be put before National Security Committee (NSC).” Criticising opposition, Fazl said that there are talks of “Sinking government’s boat”.

Opponents are creating hurdles for government, PDM Chief said, adding that country didn’t default due to efforts by incumbent government. On KP and Punjab, Fazl said that people are deprived of their basic rights as official resources of both provincial governments are being spent on Imran Khan.

Imran Khan wants to come back to power to “Ruin country”, he said. Nation has no idea what these people [former PTI government] have done to country.

He claimed that federal government is taking steps to improve economic conditions, adding that PTI is neither capable enough to hold long march nor stage protest.
