Joint effort needed to bolster investment, trade: UAE CG

KARACHI: Sindh Minister of Tourism, Culture Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah and Consul General Bakheet Ateeq AlRemeithi discussed tourism and cultural activities and projects for promotion of tourism under public-private partnership. Muhammad Isa Al Tahiri, CEO of U Bank was also present.

Bakheet Ateeq AlRemeithi said that there are important social, historical and cultural relations between UAE and Pakistan, while more work is needed on tourism and culture to strengthen relations between two countries. He said that joint effort will be made for investment under public-private partnership, while ease will be created in other matters including visa for tourists. Zulfiqar Ali Shah said that Pakistan is keen to strengthen cultural and public relations with UAE and for consolidation of cultural relations and joint cultural activities should be held.

He said that there are numerous opportunities and favourable environment for investment in Sindh, both countries will be benefited by further increasing exports of handicrafts. He said that founder of Peoples’ Party Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto played key role in establishment and unity of United Arab Emirates. Later they cut cake for win of Al-ain Football Club.
