JI to ensure basic necessities of citizens if comes into power: Sirajul Haq

Karachi: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) amir Sirajul Haq claimed that if his party comes into power it would ensure provision of basic necessities of citizens in country.

He stated this while addressing 'workers convention' of his party as chief guest which was organised here at local marriage hall. He said if his party would be given mandate by people it would ensure provision of education to children, allowance to elder citizens and health facilities for all citizens. He strongly condemned incident of desecration of Holy Quran in Sweden and demanded government expel Swedish ambassador from  country.

General Secretary of Jamaat-e-Islami Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Abdul Wasi said that Jamaat-e-Islami is an organisation of brotherhood and love and always stands firm in front of oppressors.

District Ameer Manzar Masood Khattak thanked all  guests including party's chief Siraj ul Haq, saying, the large number of people participating in 'Workers Convention' proved that people were turning towards Jamaat-e-Islami. He said Al-Khidmat Foundation working under his party served flood victims with Rs 40 million during devastating floods of last year.
