Karachi: Pakistan Peoples’ Party District Central Information Secretary Shehzad Majeed said, “Gulberg Town has become place of dirt, breeding of mosquitoes and stray-dogs.” Commenting on alliance of Jamaat-e-Islami and MQM-P in Town affairs, he said, “Health and sanitation department In spite of receiving millions of funds, Town is in shamble”.

He said lack of janitor services in every UC and apathy of UC Chairman and councilors, roads and streets are portraying dirt and litter sites while the institutions of TMC Gulberg Town are in state of disrepair.  He alleged, “Corrupt officials-suspended several times by anti-corruption are present in Town administration”.
