Israeli police thwarted an attack by three gunmen near Jerusalem today, resulting in the elimination of the assailants, as reported by AFP.

According to National Police Chief Kobi Shabtai, the attackers were armed with pistols, axes, and ammunition, intending for a severe assault or potential massacre in Israel.

Reports from the emergency medical service, Magen David Adom, stated that six security forces were injured in the incident, with four sustaining gunshot wounds, one critically, and two with minor injuries.
