In a recent interview, actress Jennifer Lawrence expressed her strong support for Democratic nominees Kamala Harris and Tim Walz.

Speaking with People magazine, the 34-year-old star emphasized the importance of reproductive rights, stating, “Abortion is on the ballot.”

She highlighted Vice President Harris’s commitment to protecting these rights, especially following the overturning of Roe v. Wade in 2022. “I’m voting for Kamala Harris because I think she’s an amazing candidate,” Lawrence declared. “I know that she will do whatever she can to protect reproductive rights.” She stressed the urgency of ensuring that a candidate who opposes abortion does not enter the White House, underscoring the significance of this issue in the upcoming election. Lawrence is not alone in her endorsement. Pop star Taylor Swift also publicly declared her support for Harris and Walz following the presidential debate on September 10. In an Instagram post, Swift announced, “I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election. I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them.” Swift praised Harris as a “steady-handed, gifted leader,” expressing her belief that the country could achieve more under calm leadership rather than chaos.

As the election approaches, celebrity endorsements continue to draw attention to key issues, with reproductive rights at the forefront of the conversation.
