Jennifer Coolidge should be two for two in terms of well-deserved Emmy Awards after its dramatic season 2 finale. Coolidge played Tanya in season 1 of White Lotus and it’s safe to say that she utterly merited Emmy she got for part. She did, however, achieve new heights in season 2 and this season more than any other did better job of preparing her for award season.

Since her debut performance in American Pie in 1999, Coolidge has become familiar face. This made her getting her first Emmy Award for HBO’s prestigious series White Lotus twenty years into her career all more unexpected and appreciated. Without doubt, she was sophisticated and nuanced character, but she was also brilliant comic relief. Because of this, Coolidge, legendary comic relief actress, had chance to show that her genuine skill is in providing characters she is best known for portraying some depth. –Agencies
