Jenna speaks out about Gen Z being labelled as ‘unintelligent’

Jenna Ortega an actress has spoken out about Gen Z stereotypes. In new interview, ‘Wednesday’ breakout star spoke out against stereotypes about teenagers that irritate her. Former Channel star addressed issue when making an appearance.
Jenna Ortega was asked, March 2 episode if there is Gen Z trope or stereotype about teens in scripts that “Gets under” her skin. Jenna Ortega, unsurprisingly, was quick to point out some common misconceptions about high school students. Because so much is “accessible to them on Internet,” ‘Scream VI’ actress noticed that teenagers are frequently depicted as “Unintelligent,” which does not reflect her generation. She went on to insist, “I wish that they were given bit more credit. We can be smart, sometimes!”
After “Little over decade” in Hollywood and admitting that she “Look bit younger” than her peers, 20-year-old actress also stated that she is tired of plotlines about “Bratty” teens who “Bad mouth” everything. “So I think that I personally have so much fun pushing boundaries and doing all of things that, you know, Latina character ‘shouldn’t’ do. We were never hero of story or lead of story and I love to be able to push back on that,” Jenna Ortega elaborated.
