ISLAMABAD: Judicial Commission (JC) probing into audio leaks has sought transcript of all videos, addresses and contact numbers of all persons on Wednesday besides announcing to make public its proceedings.

First meeting of JC was held under Justice Qazi Faez Isa in Supreme Court Monday. Other members of JC Balochistan High Court Chief Justice Naeem Akhtar Afghan and Islamabad High Court Chief Justice Aamer Farooq also participated. 

Attorney General Mansoor Usman Awan also appeared in JC. At inception of meeting AG read out TORs. Justice Qazi Faez Isa head of commission said government constituted commission under what law.

AG said commission has been constituted under inquiry commission act-2016. Justice Qazi Faez Isa remarked, “I have certain constitutional obligations being senior most judge. I am member of Supreme Judicial Council (SJC). There is heavy burden on us. No one appearing in commission is accused. Respect will be given to all who are appearing before commission. We want commission completes its inquiry as soon as possible. If any sensitive issue comes before us then we will review application for in camera proceedings.

Proceedings of commission will take place in SC Islamabad building. Justice Qazi Faez Isa said there are two elderly women among those about whom inquiry has to be held. If application comes then commission can go Lahore for proceedings.
