JazzCash, Paymob ink digital payment acceptance accord

Karachi: Paymob-omni-channel payments facilitator in MENAP and JazzCash-Fintech and part of VEON Group announced partnership to expand digital payments acceptance in Pakistan. JazzCash mobile wallet payments will now be accepted by Paymob merchants and processed seamlessly through Paymob’s gateway. 

“This partnership with JazzCash enables merchants to accept wallet payments is a great milestone in digitizing payment acceptance. JazzCash customers shopping online through Paymob’s gateway will now have option to pay conveniently through their wallets”, said Fawad Abdul Kader Paymob’s Country Manager.

“Our collaboration with Paymob is aimed at broadening financial inclusion by facilitating consumers with added digital payment platforms, encouraging users to transact digitally and help move Pakistan towards a cashless economy,” said Murtaza Ali Head of JazzCash. Paymob has been disrupting fintech landscape in Middle East with the latest payment acceptance solutions.

Pakistan’s evolving e-commerce market is ripe with opportunities to equip aspiring merchants to build their marketplaces.  Integration with JazzCash as a payment channel in Paymob’s e-commerce gateway SDK will enable smooth and hassle-free payment collection for merchants nationwide.
