LAHORE: Judicial magistrate of Lahore ordered to quash money laundering case registered against Jahangir Tareen and his Ali Tareen. Orders were passed by judicial magistrate in light of report submitted by Federal Investigation Agency. FIA investigation officer submitted report in court of judicial magistrate on charges of money laundering against Jahangir Tareen and his son Ali Tareen.

FIA in its report stated that allegations of money laundering were not proved in inquiry, all transactions were done in accordance with Security Exchange Companies of Pakistan Act. Allegations against Jahangir Tareen and Ali Tareen are not true as accused have provided documentary evidence regarding transactions of all amounts.
