It’s a girl for Bollywood stars Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, as per India Today. Celebrity couple was spotted arriving at Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre in Mumbai for delivery, Pinkvilla reported. News of couple welcoming their first child has also been confirmed on Alia’s Instagram.

A post uploaded on photo-sharing app moments ago reads, “And in best news of our lives. Our baby is here and what a magical girl she is. We are officially bursting with love. Blessed and obsessed parents! Love, love, love, Alia and Ranbir.” Alia’s father and filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt had expressed joy over welcoming his first grandchild ahead of delivery. “Waiting for a new sun to rise.

A fresh sparkling dew drop of life,” he had told ETimes.  Two recently hosted a baby shower for which Alia’s sister Shaheen Bhatt, Ranbir’s mother Neetu Kapoor, his sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, cousin Karisma Kapoor and Shammi Kapoor’s wife, Neila Devi arrived at their Vastu home in Pali Hill area of Mumbai.
