Item songs our own culture: Yasir Hussain

Renowned actor and playwright Yasir Hussain said that item songs are part of our culture. Actor recently gave an interview in which he extensively talked about his career and wife Iqra Aziz. “It is wrong to say that item numbers are not part of our culture. They are very much our part,” Hussain said.

We have seen phenomenal dance performances in past on songs of Noor Jehan in our films, he added. He was of view that these songs are part of our movies since start of film industry right after creation of Pakistan. “We should invite Reema and Resham on our award shows for dance performances,” said actor. Talking about age difference with his wife Iqra Aziz, he said that it is better to have age difference with your life partner.
