IT Minister highlights women’s rights at moot

Karachi: Minister Amin ul Haque, Administrator Syed Shakeel Ahmed, Administrator Korangi Muhammad Sharif Khan participated in Women’s Day event organized by Liaquat Memorial Library.

Minister for Information Technology, Aminul Haq, film actor, Mustafa Qureshi, model Nadia Hussain, Amjad Rana participated. Importance of Women’s Day was highlighted by organising various performances.

Minister Aminul Haq said that International Women’s Day is celebrated to highlight rights and importance of women, while women do not get as much respect which respect as Islam has given them. Women are shining their iron by developing in every sector.

Syed Shakeel Ahmed said a high society is formed by honouring women, real right of women is to give them honor and respect, which is first priority of our religion, so main task of all of us is to who don’t respect women, they should change their attitudes. He said that DMC East is working to increase educational ratio of women, for which work is being done with private support because we know very well that woman’s education, is education of generation.

Muhammad Sharif Khan said that it is very easy to understand the greatness of woman, it is wrong to consider woman inferior on basis of gender difference, great status of woman can be easily understood as heaven under feet of mother. Mustafa Qureshi and others also spoke.  Later shields were presented to women who performed best in their fields.
