In the line of duty during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Tirah area of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa's Khyber district on Monday, four valiant sons of Pakistan made the ultimate sacrifice. The military, responding to reports of terrorist presence, confirmed the martyrdom of an officer and three soldiers.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated that, under the leadership of Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Hassan Haider, our troops effectively engaged the terrorist location, resulting in the elimination of three terrorists with three others being injured.

Tragically, amidst the intense firefight, four heroic soldiers laid down their lives in service to the nation. These gallant heroes were identified as Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Hassan Haider (43 years old, from Islamabad), Naik Khushdil Khan (31 years old, from District Lakki Marwat), Naik Rafique Khan (27 years old, from District Charsadda), and Lance Naik Abdul Qadir (33 years old, from District Murree).

The military's communication unit also reported that a sanitization operation is currently in progress to eliminate any remaining terrorists in the area.

The security forces of Pakistan continue to stand resolute in their dedication to eradicating the menace of terrorism, with the sacrifices of our brave soldiers only strengthening our resolve, as affirmed by the ISPR.
