Islamabad court summons ex-CM Sindh Murad

KARACHI: Former Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah has been summoned by Islamabad accountability court in Nooriabad Power Plant corruption reference. AC recently revived case against PPP leader after Supreme Court of Pakistan annulled amendments to National Accountability Ordinance (NAO).
National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has accused Shah of misusing authority and awarding contracts without feasibility studies of projects. Former Chief Minister has been accused of causing loss of Rs 8 billion to national kitty.
