ISLAMABAD: Government announced that it will provide subsidised electricity to country’s exporters at Rs 19.99 per unit. Finance Minister Ishaq Dar while addressing the here after talks with business community said all distribution companies will provide electricity to exporter community at these rates and difference between original prices and subsidised rates will be covered by Finance Ministry.

Minister said that our government, under leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, is doing its best to assist business community and farmers to put country’s economy on right track. He urged business community to enhance Pakistan’s exports for country’s betterment. He said Pakistan’s external account problems can only be resolved through improving export sector.

Minister said, “We are also making efforts to bring back rupee at its original value, which is less than Rs 200 against a dollar.”
