KARACHI: Finance Minister Ishaq Dar meeting with Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori here discussed overall economic situation of country, traders and industrialists’ issues, measures providing relief to people, provision of funds for development projects of province and other issues of mutual interest. Governor said that business community issues need to be addressed on priority to ensure rapid industrial development. He said that being economic hub of country, Karachi deserves special attention and uninterrupted supply of electricity and gas to industries is essential for economic development of country.

Governor apprised Finance Minister about efforts creating consensus among various stakeholders of province and problems of traders and industrialists. Tessori said that despite economic difficulties, measures to provide relief to people are praiseworthy, while infrastructure and development projects in province will be completed with federal funding.

Ishaq Dar and Governor State Bank Jameel Ahmed who was also present assured Governor that problems of industrialists and traders will be resolved. Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Revenue Tariq Bahwa was also present.
