KARACHI: Unsung hero of ‘Youm-e-Takbeer’ Muhammad Quadir Hussain in his letter to American President G.W. Bush for payment of award $ 20 million on March 4, 2006 had disclosed that Pakistan had also used centrifuge process origi- nally developed by him (Muhammad Quadir Hussain) to produce pure uranium-235 for use in atomic weapons.

“Thereby, it conducted 6 (six) nuclear explosions on May 28 and 30, 1998. I have strong evidence of use thereof,” he said. With reference to breaking news that American Government is illegally using uranium enrichment process invented by Pakistani Scientist Professor Muhammad Quadir Hussain and patented in America, without paying compensation to inventor published on July 2, 2024 by National Courier, there are further revelations made about Iran and Pakistan. According to letter he disclosed that Inspection Report regarding Nplants of Iran presented new evidence to prove that Pakistan and Iran had used centrifuge process developed by him to produce bombgrade uranium-235, because no other centrifuge process exists in world that can do so.

He quoted that in gas centrifuge plants built in Almelo in Holland and at Capenhurst in UK could only enrich with 3 percent uranium-235 for use in nuclear reactors. (Reference can be made to Aston, “Evolution of liquid and gas centrifuges”. Muhammad Quadir Hus- sain further stated that full centrifuge process was acquired by Pakistan from him on September 5, 1979 after discussions with him by Dr. Riazud- din, on November 20, 1976 then member tech- nical and 12 nuclear ex- perts of Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission on March 27, 1978. Simi- larly, Iran had acquired it (process) from him on December 9, 1988 after discussion with him by Iran nuclear scientists from December 6-9, 1988, informed sources disclosed.
