Karachi: 2nd International IPO Congress was organised by International Police Organisation in Milan, Italy where law enforcement officials and members participated from worldwide. According to reports received here delegation from International Police Organisation Pakistan under leadership of President IPO Pakistan Dr. Maqsood Ahmed attended conference where he shared expertise in field of money laundering and terror financing. Dr. Maqsood Ahmed emphasised on the significance of modern policing in developing countries and inter agency coordination and cooperation among police organisations worldwide in domain of training and capacity building.

IPO President Ilija Zivotic announced next international congress of IPO to be conducted in Pakistan.

DIG Security Dr. Maqsood Ahmed welcomed decision of IPO President and termed it as an honour for Pakistan Police to host IPO members from worldwide in Pakistan.

IPO is multinational professional non-profit and non-governmental organisation in special consultative status with United Nations ECOSOC since 2022.

Congress brought innovation to bring together all IPO section leaders and members to get to know each other, to exchange ideas and experiences as well as to get acquainted with programmes and guidelines of IPO for coming years.
