KARACHI: To mark Kashmir Day, World Kashmir Forum organised Kashmir rally led by Commissioner Karachi Iqbal Memon to express solidarity with Kashmiris. Dignitaries from different walks of life including businessmen, scholars, artistes and number of people attended.
Chairman of World Kashmir Forum, Haji Muhammad Rafiq Pardesi said that although economic and political situation in Pakistan is not good at present, we should not forget Kashmir cause. We need to help Muslim ummah at all level.
Chancellor of Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology (SSUET) Jawaid Anwar said that it is regrettable that international media is no longer neutral. Only few media houses are following journalistic values and ethics, otherwise most of them have lost their credibility.
Kashmiris have been protesting against India’s illegal occupation and brutal oppression for past seven decades, but international community and world media have kept silent. World Kashmir Forum has highlighted issue of Kashmir at global level and has raised its voice against Indian atrocities. In this critical moment, we stand with our Kashmiri brothers and appeal to international community to come forward for peaceful and just solution to Kashmir.
