Inter-school badminton: NNG honours Usman Ahmed for excellent show

KARACHI: Usman Ahmed of North Nazimabad Gymkhana won the Inter-School Junior Championship in both categories representing Happy Palace School in the Inter-School Doubles and Singles Badminton Championship.

In this regard, a ceremony was held at North Nazimabad Gymkhana in which President North Nazimabad Gymkhana Aamir Waliuddin Chishti, Senior Vice President Faisal Moiz Khan and Head of Sports Committee Mrs. Asma Ali Shah (wife of former Sindh Minister Dr Muhammad Ali Shah) awarded the winner with shield, certificate and cash prize.

Asma Shah, who is also the Chairperson of Wheelchair Cricket and first Pakistani female member of MCC, said that it was a pride for the  North Nazimabad Gymkhana which lays special emphasis on sports activities from its platform.
