ISLAMABAD: Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar expressed his government's resolve to make Pakistan hub of development and prosperity in New Year. In message to nation, he said that year 2024 was significant for country in its determination to achieve goals of peace and strong economy.

Interim PM Kakar urged demonstration of unity among ranks of nation to attain success in every field of life. He paid tribute to martyrs of country who sacrificed their lives for homeland.

 He felicitated nation on occasion, however mentioned that government had banned celebrations of New Year in solidarity with people of Palestine. He pointed out that 2023 was year marked by violence and aggression of Israeli authorities against innocent people of Gaza.

 Interim PM hoped that international community would play role in ensuring peace in Palestine and ending genocide committed by Israeli authorities. He expressed desire that New Year see progress for people of Kashmir in attaining their right to self-determination.
