Interim Minister Ahmed Shah praises fashion designer's collection event

Karachi: Interim Minister Sindh of Information, Minority Affairs and President Arts Council Karachi Muhammad Ahmed Shah attended fashion designer's collection exhibition along with his wife here.
Recognising women's higher educational and creative abilities, Ahmed Shah highlighted need to bring women into business, praising creativity of designer Erum Zia. He expressed support for women's empowerment and mentioned importance of husbands supporting their wives in pursuing individual interests.
He praised efforts of women like Sultana Siddiqui in breaking barriers. Responding to question, he emphasised importance of Supreme Court and Election Commission's role in ensuring transparent elections. He clarified that their focus is not on creating chaos but on assisting Election Commission. Regarding law and order, he expressed confidence in Supreme Court and mentioned preparations for polling stations and Cabinet meetings. Regarding Supreme Court's decision, he emphasised working under leadership of Justice (retd) Maqbool Baqir, asserting they haven't issued any orders to lift anyone. Acknowledging police's limitations, he mentioned they would manage situation, with Rangers providing support. In case law and order deteriorates, seeking assistance from Pakistani military might be considered.
