KARACHI: Caretaker  Chief Minister Sindh Justice (retd) Maqbool Baqir decided that recruitment process of Sub-Registrar will now be conducted by Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC).

According to CM’s spokesman, post of Sub-Registrar was of Grade 15 and was very important post.

Recruitment of Sub-Registrars through commission will improve performance of department.

Interim Chief Minister had said that Sub-Registrar is person, who registered ownership papers.

He said that eradication of corruption in Sub-Registrar offices was possible only when recruitment was based on merit. Baqar said that Sindh government had digitised Revenue Department for convenience of people. He said that reforms are being introduced in Revenue Department which will eliminate corruption.
