ISLAMABAD: Caretaker Minister for Information and Broadcasting Murtaza Solangi called on Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani at Parliament House.

During meeting, caretaker Minister Murtaza Solangi reiterated caretaker government’s unwavering commitment to working in bipartisan manner and ensuring free and fair elections in Pakistan. Importance of facilitating open dialogue and free flow of information was emphasised as cornerstone of transparent governance and democratic process.

Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani also lent his voice to importance of vibrant and unbiased media landscape. He emphasised that such media environment is essential in upholding core values of democracy. He further highlighted critical role that well-informed public plays in holding government accountable and transparent. Media, according to Chairman Senate, serves as guardian of these values by providing citizens with accurate, timely and unbiased information.
