Indus Motors to export locally manufactured Toyota vehicles globally

KARACHI: Indus Motor Company (IMC) held significant ceremony at its manufacturing facility in Port Qasim, Karachi, where company unveiled its ambitious plans to export vehicles produced in Pakistan to international markets.
This marks major step forward for country’s automotive industry. Event was attended by Minister for Industries and Production Rana Tanveer Hussain, Chief Executive of the Engineering Development Board Engineer Khuda Bakhsh, representatives from Special Investment Facilitation Council and key figures from Toyota’s leadership, including Executive Vice President of Toyota Motor Asia Kazunari Aguchi.
During ceremony, IMC announced its intention to begin exporting parts of its renowned vehicles such as Toyota Fortuner, Hilux and Corolla Cross to countries including Australia, Indonesia and New Zealand.
This move is expected to not only boost Pakistan’s economy by generating export revenue but also enhance country’s presence in global automotive market. IMC’s decision to expand its export operations is seen as positive development for Pakistan’s industrial sector, reflecting company’s commitment to quality manufacturing and global competitiveness.
