India to host 71st Miss World 2023 after 27 years

Miss World Organisation has declared India as host country for 71st Miss World Final, marking triumphant return after gap of nearly three decades. As reported by Hindustan Times, prestigious beauty pageant last held in India in 1996 will gather contestants from over 130 countries to showcase their unique talents, intelligence, and compassion in series of rigorous competitions.
Julia Morley Chairperson and CEO of Miss World Organisation said, “I am delighted to announce India as new home of 71st Miss World Final! I have had great affection for India from first moment I visited this incredible country more than 30 years ago! We cannot wait to share your unique and diverse culture, world-class attractions and breathtaking locations with rest of world.”
Exact date for grand finale is yet to be announced, but it is expected to take place in November or December of this year. Reigning Miss World Karolina Bielawska shared her excitement about upcoming event and emphasised progressive spirit of India, stating, “India prepares to welcome world and showcase country’s grace, beauty and progressive spirit.
