Karachi: Additional IG Karachi Javed Alam Odho inaugurated command and control comprising of 100 CCTV cameras set up by Community Policing Karachi (CPK) at District East Police Station Soldier Bazar.

DIG East, SSP District East, SP Jamshed, Social Worker Abbas Badami, CPK Executive Director Murad Soni and other police officers attended. Murad Soni briefed Police Chief regarding project.

Police Chief said that way Murad Soni and his team are working, soon  we will be able to meet half of shortfall of Karachi Safe City. Murad Soni and his team have an important role in carrying out this project successfully, who are busy working day and night to serve people of Karachi. Community Policing Karachi CPK organisation that gave concept of Clean, Green and Safe Neighbourhood to city will emerge like CPLC in coming time, which Karachi Police will play its full role in making it successful.

He thanked Murad Soni and his team for establishing timely command and control and assured their full cooperation. Murad Soni and his team presented honorary shields to Karachi Police Chief, DIG East, SSP East, SP Jamshed and other officers. Additional IG Karachi distributed certificates of appreciation to CPK team for making this project success.
