In talks with CNN, Bilawal calls for impartial probe into Imran’s assassination bid

ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari called on Monday for a ˜free, fair and impartial investigation into the alleged assassination attempt on PTI chief Imran Khan.
In an interview to CNN with senior journalist Christiana Amanpour, the minister reiterated his unequivocal condemnation of the attack and maintained that an impartial investigation would help bring facts forward.
Whatever anyone thinks of Mr Khan domestically, this was an attack on a former prime minister. An attack on anyone should be investigated in an impartial and proper manner Bilawal stated.
Meanwhile, Bilawal while appraising the world of its responsibility to find solutions to mitigate the effects of climate change.
The Foreign Minister said Pakistan suffered a lot of damage due to the climate-induced devastating floods. Foreign Minister said Pakistan contributes less than one percent of global carbon footprint but it is 8th most affected country by climate change, which is a great injustice.
“There’s not going to be a planet for us to fight over’ unless climate crisis is solved,” Bilawal told CNN in his interview. During interview, Bilawal said Pakistan contributed less than one percent of global carbon footprint but it was 8th most stressed country on planet, in that sense it was a great injustice to country. “We are feeling brunt of damages caused by climate change.”
