LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan vowed to counter "Violence" at any cost. Former Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi called on Khan in his Zaman Park residence to discuss country's political situation.

Apart from that, both leaders also discussed strategy over PTI's public gathering on March 22. Both Khan and Elahi strongly condemned "Police operation and illegitimate arrests of PTI leaders". In connection with PTI's gathering, Imran Khan said, "PTI's public gathering on Wednesday will be turning point in bid to get rid of cruel rulers."

Meanwhile, Elahi took dig at Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz senior Vice President Maryam Nawaz, claiming, "Maryam is mastermind behind police attack on Imran Khan's residence." Elahi also vehemently condemned arrest of PTI stalwart Hassaan Niazi. Expressing his thoughts over elections, Elahi believed that elections would happen and Imran Khan will become premier again.
