KARACHI: A consultative session of Pakistan Peoples’ Party has been summoned in Chief Minister House to discuss MQM demands in dialogue on Local Body issue. Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah will chair party session today to consult over three demands of MQM. PPP Sindh leaders Nisar Khuhro, Murtaza Wahab, Saeed Ghani and others will attend meeting. MQM-P in a dialogue with PPP had demanded change in local government delimitations, appointment of its administrators in local councils, etc.

PPP session will take decision on three demands of MQM-P. Meeting’s recommendations will be forwarded to party’s leadership for approval. People’s Party meeting will also consider legal complications in case of implementation on demands of MQM, which has been an ally in federal government of PDM. Party session will decide, which demands of MQM-P are acceptable for PPP. MQM-P and PPP leaders met at Governor House for dialogue on LB system. Session was also attended by Governor Kamran Tessori.
