KARACHI: Sindh Energy Minister Imtiaz Ahmed Sheikh termed news of Chief Minister’s change on social media as a conspiracy, saying that it had nothing to do with reality. “Chief Minister is our captain and we are part of his team,” he said while addressing a press conference. He said that Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan was lusting for power and still dreaming to get it.
“His (Imran Khan)’s words should not be given importance,” he said referring to utterance of former PM regarding appointment of Army Chief. Imtiaz Shaikh said that procedure of selection of Army Chief was there in Constitution. “Army Chief cannot be appointed according to anyone’s wish,” he added. He said that leadership of Pakistan Peoples’ Party and Sindh government are continuously working for relief of flood victims with support and services of Armed Forces, police, Rangers, welfare associations and volunteers.
