ISLAMABAD: Minister Sherry Rehman said appeal by Imran Khan to new Army Chief for interfering in political affairs is condemnable.  In a statement issued here she said no democratic politician invites institutions to interfere in politics.  He has been saying to institutions to interfere in his support earlier.

She underlined that Imran Khan should keep away new Army Chief from his political narrative. Political parties come to power with votes of people. Parliament also uses public mandate. Imran Khan wants to come to power with help of institutions by sitting outside Parliament. He has become habitual of crutches.

She remarked Imran Khan will have to learn and do politics without help of institutions. She observed Imran Khan has been got embroiled in blind alley. Now neither PTI MNAs want to tender resignations nor are his allies and party in favour of dissolution of assemblies. He placed his focus on implicating his political rivals in cases during worst tenure of his four years and not on governance.  She stated had Imran Khan focused on governance then country and economy would not have faced this situation.
