Imran regrets over his words, says never even think of threatening female judge

ISLAMABAD: PTI Chairman Imran Khan has expressed deep regret over his threatening remarks against female judge Zeba Chaudhry in his written reply filed in Islamabad High Court (IHC).
He said in his written reply submitted by him that his remarks were unintentional. He had no intention to hurl threat on female judge as he could not even think to do so. “I have always expressed my opinion based on respect for institutions. I assure I respect court and judges. He regretted over his remarks and his reaction in public meeting. Imran Khan submitted new written reply containing 19 pages under orders of IHC. He filed his supplementary reply in court in response to show cause notice.
Citing to words used by him against female judge in public meeting Imran Khan said his remarks were unintentional. I express deep regret over these words, he added.
Imran Khan further said in his reply that it is encouraging that he was given opportunity to present his stance. I have always expressed my opinion based on respect for institutions. I assure that I respect court and judges. Judges remain always busy in administering justice to common man. My objective was not hurting female judge. I have enormous respect for high court and its subordinate courts. My aim was not to hurt sentiments of female judge. I regret over words uttered by me unintentionally in public rally. I cannot even think of threatening female judge, he added.
