ISLAMABAD: PTI Chairman Imran Khan has written a letter to President Arif Alvi demanding of him to take steps to block way of deviation from law and Constitution.

He said in his letter “Ever since PTI government has been pulled down nation has stood up on my call for Haqiai Azadi.” We are facing tactics of torture in detention, false allegations, harassment and unjust arrests.  Naming three high profile personalities including Prime Minister and Interior Minister he said their plan of killing came to my knowledge. During March attempt was made to materialise this plan and Allah saved me. You being head of state and supreme commander of Armed Forces are requested to take immediate notice of these matters connected with national security. Please arrange to hold investigation to fix responsibility and hold them accountable who are found responsible. Official secret act was torn into shreds by releasing talks held between me when I was PM, Army Chief and DG ISI to media.

Most serious question is this who is responsible for committing robbery on secure conversation of Prime Minister. Robbery on safe line of PM is highest level attack on national security. National Security Committee met on matter of cipher during my premiership, he said adding it was taken a clear decision in meeting that it is non-acceptable interference in our internal matters. In meeting of national security committee during Shehbaz Sharif government these decisions which were taken during my government were endorsed. But on October 27 DGs held joint press conference wherein an absolute different stance from decisions of two meetings of national security committee was adopted.  Imran Khan said question arises how two officers can refute decisions of national security committee openly. This press conference gives rise to most serious matter too that bid was made to create a wrong narrative deliberately.

Two vital questions arise as well. One how head of agency can address press conference. How can two officers target head of a political party.

He said there is need to limit jurisdiction of ISPR to only issuance of information regarding defence and military related matters.
