LARKANA: PPP Sindh President Nisar Ahmad Khuhro said that Imran Khan is not patriotic person, his agenda is not democracy and Pakistan, as he is supporter of terrorists and is silent on activities of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan.

After losing power, he went crazy and wanted to make assemblies and others as scapegoat, Khuhro said. Addressing meeting of party leaders and workers on 15th death anniversary of martyred Benazir Bhutto at his residence he said that if Imran Khan was supporter of democracy, he would not have asked for resignations of his and PTI members from assemblies. He said that Imran Khan, who claimed to have good relations with Afghanistan, was not ready to speak single word against activities of terrorism in Pakistan.

He said that talk of Imran Khan for becoming President of country was empty and futile because Khan could be candidate for President only if Arif Alvi resigned from post, after which candidate for election of President would be constitutionally elected from all four provinces.

He said that there was no room for technocrat and presidential system in Constitution, as only caretaker Prime Minister and caretaker Cabinet could be technocratic in caretaker government and bureaucrats could also be in caretaker government.

Talking about gas crisis in Sindh, he said, “Constitutionally, province from which gas is produced has first right to gas, so federal government should constitutionally provide its legitimate share of gas to Sindh.” Khuhro said that Imran Khan was responsible for economic collapse in country, but ‘we democratic forces are making efforts to improve country and economy’. He said that Charter of Economy was needed to deal with economic crisis.

He said that killing of Benazir Bhutto was conspiracy to suppress voice of people and was against democracy, but we saved country and democracy by chanting slogan “Democracy is best revenge”.

He said that place where Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto was martyred was clean washed as dictator Pervez Musharraf did not provide security to her, hence, Musharraf should also be included in investigation.

Meanwhile, Khuhro together with other party leaders reviewed arrangements for martyrdom anniversary of Benazir Bhutto to be observed in Garhi Khudabakhsh Bhutto. He visited reception camps and met workers.
