Imran Khan’s directive: KP Assembly to be ‘dissolved tomorrow’

PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-led government has decided to dissolve Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly on Tuesday, hours after it dissolved Punjab legislative.
KP Chief Minister Mahmood Khan who was awaiting orders has received directions from PTI Chairman Imran Khan to send summary for Assembly's disbandment to KP Governor Haji Ghulam Ali. He will send summary under Constitution's Article 112 to Governor and if Ali decides against signing it, then legislative will automatically dissolve after 48 hours which is expected on Thursday. "God willing, Tehreek-e-Insaf will again form its government in KP with two-third majority," CM Mahmood wrote on his official Twitter handle.
Defending PTI Chairman, KP chief executive said that Imran Khan "Sacrificed" his governments for sake of country. "Khan will soon be Prime Minister," he added. Mahmood said that people of Pakistan finally come to understanding that getting rid of self-interested political mafia was of paramount importance. "We will complete journey of development which was started under leadership of Imran Khan," he said.
